How do you deal with difficult people?
Luther:
When you are happy with yourself, do not see that as your possession, but make yourself small and forget how you are, and be as they are and support and help them. Make their sin yours and if you have done something good, then let it also count for them. It is worthless if you do not want to endure others who compared to you seem less, but you keep aloof from them and you want to be alone, instead of helping them by patience, prayer and the right example. Otherwise you bury the talent of the Lord.
If Christ wanted to live only among good and pleasant people and only wanted to die for His friends, who would He then have died for and with whom could He have lived with forever? Let that attitude be in you, which was also in Him. He considered being equal to God not as His possession, but made Himself a servant.
