How do you need to read the Bible?

You cannot understand the Bible merely by hard study and much reading. It begins with humble prayer. Ask the Lord to give you insight into His own Word. Nobody has the Word of God in his power; only He who has spoken them Himself. Therefore that is why it says: ‘they shall be all taught of God’ (John 6:45). So, you do not have to trust in your own insight, but only in the work of the Holy Spirit. Believe me, I have experienced it myself.
