You say that you have to distrust your conscience and instead you have to believe Christ. Does this not give you permission to do as you please?

Christian freedom of conscience only applies between you and God, not between you and your neighbour, because that neighbour has not forgiven you all your deeds as God did because of the work of Christ. Otherwise you indeed could break all agreements. But now you are still obliged to that neighbour. That is also how God wants it.
