What is the conflict between flesh and spirit?

First of all it is about the will. You are not flesh and spirit both partly, but completely. On the one hand you want to live completely pure and clean, but on the other hand you also do not want it at all. As Christian, you are in constant conflict with yourself about that. That is the beauty of God’s grace, that it makes us enemies of ourselves.
